Your options and career development
Capitalise on our network
Joining us at HSBC may be your first step into the world of work from university, or at the very least your first step into a new organisation.
We will provide you with an initial integrated induction programme, together with technical and soft skills training, to help you settle into HSBC, get to know our business, our strategy, our culture and our values. You will also build up a toolkit of key technical and soft skills to assist you in your role.
Ours is a people-driven, relationship-management business. It is all about the client and delivering the best service to the client. Building your networks and relationships will be crucial to your success, even in the first few days of the graduate programme, and in whichever business area you join.
As part of your graduate programme, you will have plenty of opportunities to meet and interact with your mentors and line managers. We’ll also organise several receptions, social and charitable events such as music concerts, sports activities and team-building exercises.
Our global graduate programme also offers an invaluable opportunity to network with your fellow colleagues across our global organisation, enabling you to get to know your colleagues with different backgrounds, disciplines and experiences, many of whom will be invaluable contacts as your career progresses with us.
